The pump, controller, and float switch of the RAINMASTER Eco are run from a 24V low-voltage supply for low energy consumption and compatibility with solar power. It is very quiet, with a noise level of 50-56 decibels. The Rainmaster Eco can easily be installed in any area of a single-family home. For rainwater collection, the water is pumped from the cistern and can be used indoors, for toilet flushing, laundry, and garden watering. If the supply of rainwater runs low, the RAINMASTER Eco automatically switches to municipal water back-up with built-in backflow prevention, so you are never out of water. The diaphragm pump has a peak flow of 160 gallons per hour, adequate for toilet flushing, laundry, and light garden watering in a single-family home.
